Lt. Col. Alphonse Al A. Parise

Lieutenant Colonel Alphonse A. Parise Sr., on January 26, 2015 of Massapequa, New York. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor. Loving father of Tony (Nina), Alphonse Jr., and Andrew (Dina). Cherished grandfather of Adam, Anthony, Alphonse, and George. Adored great grandfather of Asher. Adored brother of Maryann Soehl. Alphonse is a retired Lieutenant Colonel for the United State Air Force. Also a retired teacher for the Ocean Side School District. Alphonse was a member of the Son's of Italy Columbus Lodge. A Past President of AFA. Dad was also a educator in BOCES for many years and taught over 2000 adults to speak English, He used to talk about how he would meet some of his previous BOCES students years later and they would be so thankful for his help to teach them English.

Visitation will be held on February 5, 2015, Thursday from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. ~ and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. ~

~ Funeral Mass will be held on February 6, 2015, Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima RC Church, 2 Bayview Avenue, Massapequa, New York 11758 ~

Interment to follow to St. Charles Cemetery, Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York 11735

Family and friends are welcome to James Funeral Home on Friday (February 6, 2015) at 9:00 a.m. before leaving for the funeral mass.
