Born on November 11, 1943, he was born in Brooklyn, NY where he was raised by his parents, Philip and Angelina Rizzuto. He grew up on Willoughby Street in Brooklyn with his brother Ronald (deceased) and sisters Nancy and Louise. He attended Queen of All Saints as a child. As a young boy, he appeared on the game show “Names The Same” with New York Yankees shortstop, Phil Rizzuto. From 1961 - 1965 he served in the United States Air Force.
While supporting his wife and 2 children by working at Grumman, he attended SUNY Old Westbury for 9 years at night. He graduated Cum Laude in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
He held jobs as a systems analyst at the MTA and MSBA until his final job at Healthplex, Inc as Vice-President of Information, Systems Director.
In 1993, he found his rainbow after the storm when he met the love of his life, Lorraine. They were married on September 7, 1997. In 2018, he retired from Healthplex.
Throughout his life, Phil was an avid sports fan. The Jets, Giants and of course the Yankees were his teams. He enjoyed playing Black Jack and going to Atlantic City, where he was planning to go the week of his passing. If you were lucky enough to share a meal with him at a restaurant, you also most likely never paid the bill.
He was survived by his loving wife Lorraine, his biological children, Philip Rizzuto (Marilyn), Lori Farina (Jason); Jennifer Feinman (Andrew) his non-biological children, Jo Anne McNelis (Michael) and William Chiofalo; his grandchildren, Philip IV, Nicole, Marissa, Brett, Joseph, Quinn, Lily and Ryan; his sisters Nancy Nania and Louise Rizzuto as well as his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
