Rachele was the beloved wife of the late Frank DeBiase, to whom she was married for 65 years. She was a devoted mother to Janet, Marie, and Frank; a loving grandmother to Ray, Jason, Katie, Jenny, and Danny; and a cherished great-grandmother to Callie, Lily, and Aaron. She was also the dear sister of Camille.
Rachele was a former main office secretary for the New York City Department of Education. She took great pride in her work and was known for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to those around her.
In her free time, Rachele enjoyed creating beautiful stained-glass pieces and paper crafts. But her greatest joy was entertaining. She loved bringing family and friends together, creating a warm and welcoming home filled with laughter, conversation, and love.
Affectionately known as the social director of the family, Rachele had a special gift for keeping everyone connected and making every gathering memorable.
Rachele will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love, generosity, creativity, and joyful spirit will remain in their hearts and memories forever.
Visitation for Rachele will be held at James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758, US, on August 20, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and again on August 20, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Kilian Parish, 485 Conklin St, Farmingdale, NY 11735, US, on August 21, 2026 from 9:45 am to 10:45 am.
Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933, US, on August 21, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
