ROBERT P. CHETEL on February 11, 2014 of Massapequa, New York.

Beloved husband of Dolores Chetel with 23 years of marriage. Loving father of Benjamin, Trevor, Jason and Mike. Cherished grandfather of Benjamin T. Fond brother of Kevin and Patricia. Robert served for the United States Navy for the Korean War who worked as a Union Steamfitter in New York. In Robert's spare time he enjoyed playing computer games.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, 2:00 to 4:30 and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. ~ Religious Service will be held Sunday at 8:00 in the Chapel ~ Cremation Private ~

IT WOULD BE NICE IF SOME ONE CONTACTED ME IN REGARD'S BOB'S LIFE AFTER 1998. HE WAS A GOOD AND ENJOYABLE FRIEND FOR @ 25 YEARS, STARTING IN 1959. WHEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT HIS UNTIMELY DEATH I WROTE SOME WORDS ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2014.

Robert, called "Bob", we will miss you. We had good times on Lonb Island and in the Catskills with my brother, Richard. You helped to save Ric after he went over the Moose River Falls back in 1961 or so. Thanks for that.

MAY YOU HOLD THE HIGH GROUND WITH NUMEROUS CANNONS. BEST SHARPSHOOTERS AND MOST TALENTED GENERALS.
MAY YOU PICK THE FUTURE TALENTED STAR ROOKIE PLAYERS IN FANTASY BASEBALL AND FOOTBALL.
MAY YOU BE SITTING AT YOUR FAVORITE TAVERN (OLD COUNTRY CLUB?) SHARING A "GROWLER" OF BALLANTINE ALE WITH ALL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT HAVE GONE BEFORE YOU, INCLUDING YOUR BELOVED PET, "BLACKIE".
