Rose C. Heaney

Rose C. Heaney, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 62 years, Thomas, and her brother James.

Rose leaves behind her cherished children, Kathleen, Tommy, and Tim (Jeanne); her adored grandchildren, Dakota, Savannah, and Liam; and her dear brother, Bennet. A woman of deep faith, Rose’s life was guided by love, family, and tradition.

Known for her vibrant spirit, Rose filled her home with the sounds of doo-wop, pop, and her favorite, Billy Joel. Her legendary onion soup and rice pudding were the heart of countless family gatherings. She treasured weekly card games with her cousins and was a gifted storyteller, captivating all with her warmth and wit. Above all, Rose’s greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother, pouring love into her family.

Visitation will be held at James Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Marie Regina Church on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 10:45 a.m., followed by interment at St. Charles Cemetery.

Rose’s legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
