Ruth F. Assande
December 30, 2019
Very sad to hear of Ruth's passing, or as I used to affectionately called her "Aunt bea". I am still reeling over hearing of Michael's passing and now this news. Growing up Massachusetts Ave was my home away from home. I had great times there and Ruth was a big part of it. I can still remember like it was yesterday us playing street hockey and "Mrs Assande" yelling out her upstairs window ,"Michael is that my bed sheet your using for the back of your hockey net ??!!"
That aside I will always remember her as a mom in a house full of love and great upbringing
To the Assande family and friends my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Lovingly Charlie and Shari Heine

I’m so sorry to hear of Ruth’s passing. My kids and I would often go over and sit and talk with her. She had great stories. Or we would take Benji out when she wasn’t feeling well. We were all sad to hear she passed. Living right next to her she was the first neighbor I met 30 years ago. Heaven has its Angel back home. Love Sonny,Grace,Tina and Amanda Dunn
