Stephen F. Savasta Jr.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen F. Savasta, Jr., who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on May 1, 1961, in Syosset, NY, Stephen was the cherished son of the late Irene and Stephen Savasta, Sr.

Stephen was a loving brother to Susan and her husband, William Katulka, of Massapequa, NY, and Lynn and her husband, Mark Moore, of Fair Lawn, NJ. He was a devoted uncle to Adam and Alison Katulka of Oceanside, NY, Leslie and Tim Smith of Massapequa, Justin Katulka of Farmingdale, Emily Bifulco of Massapequa, Allison Moore of Brooklyn, and Jenna Moore of Hawthorne, NJ. He was also a proud great-uncle to Grayson, Conor, Charlotte, Wesley, Madeline, and Annie, who brought joy to his heart.

Known for his sociable and outgoing nature, Stephen loved family events and cherished spending time with his group of close friends. His kind spirit and zest for life will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY, with a religious service at 12:30 PM.

Stephen's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed.
