I was saddened by the news of Mr. Cortez. I have such great memories of him from. Stopping over at the house while in high school, he was always welcoming and smiling and always interested in what I was up. As I got older and we would eventually bump into each other as we were out and about, his welcoming nature never changed and we always enjoyed talking and catching up. My condolences to the entire Cortez family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this time. Chuck and Chris Di Staulo

Both my sister and I were very saddened to read of Al's passing away. Although we lived on Haverford and Al lived on Cheltenham, our evening walks always seem to cross paths. And, of course, Al always had something to say. We enjoyed the stories he told, talking long into the evening and having to find our way back home in the dark. But it was worth it. A talk with Al was always enjoyable. Both my sister and I will remember Al with fondness.
