CARMEN CIANCI, age 83, passed away March 10, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Maria (nee Cuoci), dearest father of Gabriele (Delia), Lucia Gura (Ron) and Patrizia Green; devoted grandfather of Alexa, Ryan, Rachel, Lauren and Kenny; dear brother of Angelo, Mario, Mike, Gaetano and Nando Cianci and Vincenza Pellicione. A mighty storm blew in last night, the last raging of winter and the end of a season. As if left it scooped up Carmine and both forces of nature departed. It is right and fitting that Carmine left us on such a night. He proceeded boldly through life and like the storm, both couldn’t be stopped. He provided sustenance to his family, like rain upon the fields. His winds while causing things to sway fostered deep and strong roots. Like the storm, he raged until the end, but it was not to be denied. While both are gone, they have left behind the strength and grace that is the Cianci Family, and the seeds that will grow in the sunshine and warmth of the better days to come.
