Loving grandmother to Melissa Paradise, nephews Eddie R. Pagliaro, Steve Kish, deceased son Jerry Paradise, deceased husband Tony Bottiggi, deceased sister Josephine Rose Ross, brothers John Ross, Bill Ross, Ron and Jimmy Kish, who are deceased.
Carol was a social person who was fun to be around with an amazing sense of humor. She loved to laugh, and spend time with family and friends.
She was a very strong willed person, who would go to the ends of the earth to stand up for, and defend her family and friends. She would even defend a person she didn’t know if she felt they were wronged. Carol also loved cooking, shopping, football, and discussing politics.
Carol loved her family and friends deeply, with a strong belief in God and our Lord Jesus Christ. She believed in angels, and that they were watching over her.
She lovingly leaves behind her granddaughter, nieces, nephews, and her ex-husband Jerry Paradise who she remained close friends with till she left us. She also leaves behind many friends, who she considered to be family.
Carol's nephew Eddie would say:
One of my favorite things to do when I was a kid, every Monday I would stay at Aunt Carol's house on Wayside Rd. and watch Monday Night football with my cousin Jerry. Aunt Carol would get on our case for eating all the cereal at night. She was awesome, I love and miss her and my cousin/brother Jerry, very much! ❤️
Her granddaughter Melissa:
Loved taking Grandma Carol out to eat. She always had something funny to say about the food. There was no cutting corners on the truth for her. She’d tell it how it is. She was an excellent cook and knew what she was talking about. If she liked it, your food was truly very good! Grandma Carol was such a food critic, she was asked to judge the church’s chili cook off. She really made the very best sauce you’ve ever tasted. You couldn’t get enough. My father and I would say we were going to jar it up and sell it!
