Ricky Ray came into my life about 30 years ago and although he was only in it for a short time, his laughter, his silliness and his selflessness have never left my memory. Whenever I remember him (and I do -- fondly and often), I always smile. Although he is gone, his laughter lives on. I can hear him now, clear as day -- laughing, throwing his hands out and asking me... "Whaaaaat?" and I find myself smiling again. RIP, Rick.

My heart goes out to coach Ricky's family and friends in this time of great loss. Words cannot express how special "Coach" was. He always had a way to make you laugh and to put life in perspective when times were at their hardest. He was in the truest sense a mentor, a coach, and a friend forever.
