

Anna Florence Woodward, 88, of Maysville, Kentucky died Thursday, May 25, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Woodward was the widow of Harlan D. Woodward. She was a member of the Olivet UMC, a volunteer with RSVP, a caregiver, she had a loving personality to people and she was a past member of the Eagles, the Moose Lodge and the VFW and had attended Orangeburg High School. Mrs. Woodward was born in Mason County, Kentucky on January 21, 1929 the daughter of the late Leonard Mark Simms and Lula H. Hamm Simms. Survivors include her eight children, Kathy Cutter, Jim Stamper, Peggy Taylor, Terry Stamper, Janice Kinder (Joe) and Sheila Bellew all of Maysville, KY and Judy Ikard of Phoenix, AZ and Dale Mineer of Gainesville, GA; eleven grandchildren, Crystal Koho (Ron), Shawn Neeley, Chantelle McKenzie, Tyler Ikard, Jason Stamper, Terry Stamper, Jr., Chasity Caudill, Josh Stamper, Adam Stamper, Megan Davenport (Matthew), Matt Larrisey and Michael Larrisey; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; one brother, William T. Simms (Judy) and two sisters, Bonnie Applegate of Danville, IN and Evelyn Wheeler of Maysville, KY. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Aaron Poole and Travis Stamper; six sisters, Lillian Hall, Christine Fritts, Mary Wallingford, Marilyn Bevins, Loretta Manning and Beverly Simms and her two brothers, Leonard Simms and Wilbur Simms. Funeral services for Anna F. Woodward will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 31, 2017 with Rev. Tony Liess officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories. Pallbearers will be Jason Stamper, Matthew Davenport, Chase Stamper, Gary Gallagher, Terry Wayne Stamper and Joe Kinder. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 5 to 8 PM. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056.
