Bonnie Jean Werner Leonard

Bonnie Jean Leonard, 85, of Jersey Ridge Road died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. Mrs. Leonard was the widow of Jack Leonard who died in 1982. She was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana on September 18, 1925 the daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia Roberts Werner. Mrs. Leonard was formerly the office manager for Drs. Duque, Jimencz and Fultz and later worked for the Maysville JC Penney Store. She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maysville. She is survived by her son Dr. Timothy W. Leonard (Gail) of Maysville, Kentucky and two grandsons, Brian (Jennifer Traxel) Leonard of Villa Hills, Kentucky and Todd Leonard and his fiancée, Beth Wallingford of Maysville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise McKowsky and Alga Werner. Funeral and Interment services for Bonnie Jean Leonard will be held at the St. Anthony Cemetery, Jeffersonville, Indiana at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 13, 2011 with Rev. Tom Clegg of St. Augustine Church, Jeffersonville, IN officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the St. Patrick School, 318 Limestone Street, Maysville, KY 41056.
