Charles Michael Brookins

Maysville - Charles Michael Brookins, 62, of Columbus, Ohio died Friday, August 11, 2017 at the USVA Hospital in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born in Maysville, KY on December 27, 1954 the son of the late Matthew and Mary Beckley Brookins. Mr. Brookins was a 1972 graduate of Maysville High School and an avid basketball player for the Maysville Bulldogs. Survivors include his wife, Linda Burns Brookins; his sisters, Suzanne Brookins of Columbus, OH and Judith Anne Brookins of Maysville, KY; his brother, Kenneth A. Brookins of Lexington, KY; several nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. Memorial services for Charles Michael Brookins will be held at the Scott United Methodist Church at 12:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2017 with Rev. Frank Burns and Rev. Roderick Coffee officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service. The arrangements are entrusted with the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
