Charles Douglas Eachus

Charles Douglas “Doug” Eachus, 72, of Wallingford, KY died Monday, January 1, 2018 at the Fleming County Hospital. Doug was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union and was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served with the US Navy until his retirement. He was born in Maysville, Kentucky on December 23, 1945 the son of the late Forrest and Bertha Groves Eachus. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Wallingford Eachus, his son Adam Eachus and his wife, Crystal; grandchildren, Hailee Eachus, Addison Burchett and Lexi Eachus; brothers, Marvin Eachus, Edward Eachus and Joe Eachus; sisters, Margaret Faye Bloomfield and Iantha Emmons. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Vivian Hines and Carla Foley Lindsay. Funeral services for Doug Eachus will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 1:00 PM at the Church of Christ in Christian Union, 1414 Forest Avenue, Maysville, KY with Pastor Marilyn Roades officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories with military rites provided by the Simon Kenton VFW Post 2734. Pallbearers will be Chris Applegate, Kevin Green, Brandon Clos, Eric Monteith, Mike Logan and Darren Renchen. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 11 AM until the hour of the service.
