

Clifton William Manning, 89, of Maysville died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Hospice Care Center at Kenton Pointe. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on October 24, 1926, the son of the late Clifford and Hilda Manning.
He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Ann Aregood of Maysville; his son Steven William Manning (Julie) of Umatilla, Florida; four grandchildren, Timothy John Aregood (Sarah), Casey Lee Parker (Christopher), Blair Nicole Manning, and Shae Manning McKay (Chad); five great-grandchildren, Ashtin Scout Parker, Christopher Lincoln Parker, Cameryn Grace Parker, Timothy Waylon Parker, and Adriana Isabella Aregood; cousin, William Schmithorst (Kay); and other family members, Charlie and Bonnie Calvert.
Cliff was devoted to his family and was a loyal member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He retired from Dayton Power and Light and was an avid golfer at the Maysville Country Club. Cliff was proud of his service to his country in the United States Navy.
Services will be conducted at noon on Saturday December 19, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Maysville with Pastor Susan Jinnett-Sack officiating. Burial will follow in the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Acting as pallbearers will be Timothy Aregood, Charlie Calvert, Chad McKay, Chris Parker, Bill Schmithorst, and Steve Ullery.
