Delores Ann Allison

Delores Ann Allison, 76, of Bentonville, Ohio, was born in Maysville, Kentucky on May 14, 1940 and went home to meet the Lord on January 6, 2017. Delores was the daughter of the late Kenneth L. and Helen Dorothy Jons Shultz. She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church in Maysville, KY and a graduate of the Aberdeen High School where she was the salutatorian of her class. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her husband and her family. Delores is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Jackie L. Allison; her four children, Lisa Lynn Stricklett (Jeff) and Jacqueline Hitt both of Manchester, OH, Julie Yerkes (Andy) of Columbus, GA and Steven Allison (Treva) of Bentonville, OH; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth L. Shultz, Jr. (Linda) of Rawson, OH and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Merlin Shultz and Wayne Shultz. Funeral services for Delores Allison will be held at the Central United Methodist Church at 12:00 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2017 with Reverend Cameron Rash officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Stricklett, A. J. Yerkes, Andy Yerkes, Will Lovejoy, Ethan Stricklett and Adam Shultz. Visitation will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 5 to 8 PM.
