Eugene Paul Young

Eugene “Paul” Young, 61, of Maysville, Kentucky died Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. Paul was formerly associated with Flor-Daniels Company and a partner in the Young Family Hardware. Paul served as a Maysville City Commissioner and loved to talk politics. He was born in Maysville, Kentucky on March 6, 1956 the son of the late Ramon and Ruth McHugh Young. He is survived by two brothers, Ray Young (Rita) of Maysville, KY and Ben Young (Jane) of Union, KY; nephews, Russ Young (Rebecca) Maysville, KY and Fr. Andrew Young of Covington, KY; a great nephew Christian Prather and a great niece Addyson Young; two aunts, Frances McHugh and Elizabeth McHugh and a host of cousins. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Donnie Young. Mass of Christian burial will be held at the St. Patrick Church on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Andrew Young as the celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM.
