Gail Batchelor Moran

Gail Batchelor Moran, 76, died September 29, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Greenup County on March 22, 1936 the daughter of the late T.C. and Norsa Wells Batchelor. She was a caregiver to many children, all of whom she adored. She was a graduate of Maysville High School. She was a devout Christian and a member of the First Christian Church. Gail is survived by two daughters, Melissa Miley of Maysville, and Patricia Carr of Ripley, four grandchildren Nicholas Miley, Clinton Miley, Corey Watson, and Jessica Carr. Also surviving are three sisters, Mary Lowe (Kenneth) Ingram, St. Charles, Missouri, Marty Downing and Janice Collings both of Maysville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Gail Moran will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home, Wednesday October 3 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Tony Leiss officiating. Burial will follow in the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 A.M. until the hour of service.
