

Georgetta F. Schlomer, 68, resident of Big Three Mile Road, Aberdeen died Wednesday May 16, 2012 at the Maysville Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility. She was born in Washington, Indiana on December 16, 1943, the daughter of the late Charles F. and Edith Hall Schooley. Mrs. Schlomer was a member of the First Christian Church and a member of the YMCA Silver Slippers Club. She was an outstanding seamstress and enjoyed traveling with her husband of 45 years, Larry J. Schlomer. During the 70’s, Georgetta was a sales representative for the Singer Sewing Machine Company. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Theresa (Steve) Seeley of Columbus, Indiana and Angela (Kurt) Woelffer of Appleton, Wisconsin, four grandchildren, Isaac, Anika, Eli and Emmett Woelffer and her uncle Harold Hall of Vincennes, Indiana. Preceding her in death was her sister Hazel Ewing. Funeral services for Georgetta Schlomer will be held at 10:00 AM Monday May 21, 2012 at the First Christian Church with Rev. Steve Lesher officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Perry Williams, Jimmy Meadows, David Shugarbaker, Irving Peck, Matt Keller, Pat Gantley and Jerry Sagona. Honorary Bearers will be Wilburn Umstead, Robert Stevens, Harold Hall and Jim Meadows, Sr.. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 PM at the church.
