Herman Grandison

Herman Grandison, 79 of Maysville died April 3, 2014 at his residence. Born December 27, 1934 to the late William H. Grandison and Mattie Frances Beckley Grandison. He was a member of the Voice of God Church, Germantown. Herman worked at Caproni’s Restaurant, Clyde’s Super Value and was a well known carpenter and plumber. He is survived by his wife Peggy Remond Grandison, two sons; Herman Dewayne Grandison and Charles Edward(friend Kathy) Grandison two Daughters; Pauline Frances Grandison (Fiancé Rodney Commodore) and Melissa Ann Grandison (Donald) Simmons; Two Grand-daughters Heather Johnson Grandison and AlbreyAnna Simmons; two brothers Elgin and Robert (Joyce) Grandison of Maysville. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Roy, Kelly, David, and James as well as sisters Wilma Cox, Shiela Jones, Nida Green and Neila Washington. Funeral Services for Herman Grandison will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014, 1PM at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Burns officiating, burial will be in the Washington Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11am til the time of service.
