Hugh Teague Lonergan Jr.

Maysville - Hugh T. Lonergan, Jr., 80, of Maysville, Kentucky died March 1, 2015 at The Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville, Kentucky. Mr. Lonergan retired from ADT Security. He was born in Pell City, Alabama on January 1, 1935 the son of the late Hugh T. Lonergan, Sr. and Virginia Reeves Lonergan. He was a veteran of US Air Force, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Pell City, Alabama, a Sunday School Teacher and The Gideons International. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Dorough Lonergan; two daughters, Dena Pully (Art Jr.) of Maysville, KY and Sydney Nichols (Ben) of Auburn, AL; three grandchildren, Rhea Applegate (Seth) of Wilmore, KY, Art Pully III (Jessica) of Maysville, KY and Hope Nichols of Auburn, AL; one great grandchild, Levi Applegate and one sister, Penelope Lonergan of Kansas City, KS. Funeral services for Hugh T. Lonergan, Jr. will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 5, 2015 with Pastor Ben Nichols officiating. Burial will be in the Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
