

Maysville – James Richard “Rick” Litton, 72, of Maysville, Kentucky died Sunday, December 25, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Litton was born in Maysville, Kentucky on May 18, 1944 the son of the late James Ray Litton and Alice Emmons Litton. He was the former owner and operator of Rick’s Ford-Lincoln-Mercury dealership in Maysville, KY and Litton’s Ford-Mercury dealership in Flemingsburg, KY and Morehead, KY. Rick was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and a served in the US Army Reserve as Second Lieutenant. Survivors include his wife of forty-nine years, Sharon Diltz Litton; son, James Richard “Trey” Litton, Jr. (Rebecca) of Flemingsburg, KY; daughters, Sue Anne Bryant (Lee) of Williamsburg, KY and Shannon Alice Litton (Chancellor Dugan) of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Tyler Bryant, Tanner Bryant and James David Litton and his brother, Ron Litton (Mary Jo) of Flemingsburg, KY. Funeral services for Rick Litton will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 29, 2016 with Dr. Michael Rice and Kirk Tolle officiating. Burial will be in the May’s Lick Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Trey Litton, Ted Simpson, Tyler Bryant, Tanner Bryant, Lee Bryant, Brad Simpson and J. D. Litton. Visitation will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 5 to 8 PM.
