John Richard Loyd

John Richard Loyd, 62, of Lexington, Kentucky and formerly of Maysville, Kentucky died Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Mr. Loyd was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 6, 1954 the son of the late George Coffey Loyd and Micca Jane Sizemore Loyd. He was retired from the County Road Department. He is survived by his two sons, Daniel Loyd and Richard Loyd both of Lexington, Kentucky. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Ellen Loyd Faul and two uncles, Judge John Perrine Loyd and Richard D. Loyd. Funeral Services for John R. Loyd will be held at the Maysville Cemetery Chapel at 2:00 PM Friday, August 19, 2016. Pallbearers will be Daniel Loyd, Richard Loyd, Wesley Dillon and Nathan Russell. Visitation will be held at the Maysville Cemetery Chapel on Friday from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service. The arrangements are entrusted with the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
