Lynette May Gifford

Lynette M. Gifford, 76, of Maysville, Kentucky peacefully left her worldly home to be with her Lord and Savior at 2:00 AM Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Lynette was surrounded by her family who supported her over the last seven months after battling cancer. She was reunited with her husband, Donald Ray Gifford, who she married on September 17, 1959. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Stanton and Virginia Wright. She was born in Bracken County, KY on August 16, 1941. Lynette leaves behind three daughters, Patty Gifford Burden (Ricky), Teresa Gifford Arn (John) and Belinda Gifford Moon (Tony) all of Maysville, KY; four grandchildren, Ricky Ray Burden, April Estep (Scotty), Emily Moon and Jessica Moon; and five great grandchildren who brought her much joy, Baleigh and Savannah Burden of Lexington, Sophia Moon and Rosalee Elliot of Maysville and Jaxton Estep of Germantown. She will be missed by so many. Funeral services for Lynette Gifford will be held at the Green Acres Cemetery at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 30, 2017 with Rev. Stevie Gifford officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Ray Burden and Scotty Estep. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056. Lives touched through the years will treasurer her life and memory always. Arrangements are entrusted to the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
