Margaret Cobb Simpson

Margaret Louise Cobb Simpson, 90, formerly of Old Main Street, Maysville died Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the Brandywine Health Care Facility in Winter Haven, Florida. She was the widow of Fred Snyder Simpson who died July 29, 2010. Mrs. Simpson was born in Moscow, Ohio on August 10, 1922 the daughter of the late Roy and Stella Bocock Cobb. She formerly had worked for the office of Dr. Ensor and was a member of the Mason County Homemaker’s and a member of the Central Baptist Church of Maysville and had served as a Sunday School and Bible School teacher and for many years had attended the Plainview Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Robert Simpson (Kristine) of Sebring, Florida and Stephen R. Simpson (Betty Jo) of Winter Haven, Florida; two grandchildren, Tim Simpson and Teresa Metger (Darrell) and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Marian O’Cull of Indianapolis, Indiana. Funeral services for Margaret Simpson will be held at the Central Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 22, 2012 with Rev. Robert Donovan officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM.
