

Mary Edna Ensor, 93, of Maysville, Kentucky died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe. Mrs. Ensor was a lifelong member of the Washington United Methodist Church, a member of the last graduating class of the Washington High School and a devoted homemaker to her family. She was proud to be a part of Old Washington and she cherished the time she spent drawing and coloring pictures with her great granddaughter, Aubree Clark. Mary Edna was born in Washington, Kentucky on February 29, 1924 the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Mers Davis. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Ensor; one son, Tom Mullikin of Lexington, KY; one granddaughter, Amelia Clark (Jacob) and one great granddaughter, Aubree Clark all of Lexington, KY; one step-daughter, Linda Rankin (Ronnie) of Maysville, KY; step-grandchildren, Stacey Ellison, Tracey Taylor (Robert), Tyler Ellison, Allen Rankin (Amber), Adam Rankin and Matthew Rankin; one sister-in-law, Jenny Davis of Maysville, KY; one niece, Barbara Joyce Koeninger (Earl) and two nephews, Gary Davis (Cindy) and Robin Davis (Lisa). Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer “Hoss” Mullikin, her brother, Frank Davis, Jr. and her sisters, Anna May Jefferson and Marjorie Clair. Funeral services for Mary Edna Ensor will be held at the Washington United Methodist Church at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 3, 2017 with Rev. Jerry Beck officiating. Burial will be in the Washington Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Clark, Gary Davis, Robin Davis, Allen Hester (Brenda), Gerald Orme (Betty), Roy Furby (Cheri), Herman Frodge (Brenda). Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Blevins, Clarence Gifford (Sue) and Kenneth Haggard (Polly). Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from1:00 PM until the hour of the service. Memorials may be made to the Washington UMC, PO Box 202, Washington, KY 41096. The arrangements are entrusted to the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
