Mary Jo was one of the finest ladies I knew. I will miss her smiles, enthusiasm, and spirituality. I got to know her when she worked to resurrect Tollesboro High School, an effort I greatly appreciated. She became a Cabin Creek legend and her neighbors will be worse off for the loss, but we know with certainty she is in a better place.

Aunt Mary Jo you were an amazing woman one of the strongest women I know, you had so much knowledge and love to give, an many have loved you. I hated to see you go home, however I am glad our lord lifted you up on Good Friday to ease your pain you are in his hands now and you have been praying to go home for sometime now. I will miss our yearly visits as you were unable to travel. I have seen you twice in this year of 2018 and on Apr. 4th will be the last until we meet again in Heaven, I love you, you will always be in my heart.
