Raymond Harrison Stewart

Raymond H. Stewart, 85, of Maysville, KY died Monday January 15, 2018 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. He was the widower of Mary Louise Stewart who died April 26, 2014. Raymond retired from Browning Mfg. Co. and later from the Bank of Maysville. He had also worked at Parker Tobacco Company and attended Bethel Baptist Church. He was born in Mason County, Kentucky on March 4, 1932 the son of the late George and Ann Bishop Stewart.

He is survived by his children, Raymond E. Stewart, Derek E. Stewart, Guy M. Stewart, Mary C. Stewart and Cheryl A. Stewart, all of Maysville; one grandchild, Charnele M. Brooks; great grandchildren, Marquise A. Wilks Jr. and Maliyah Wilks and two brothers, James Stewart and Charles Stewart (Odessa). Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, George, Lee, Louis, Walter and Robert Craig Stewart and also Richard Steward; sisters, Hattie Frances McGraw, Minnie Bishop, Vivian Bertina Smith, Mary Lee Bishop and Ethel May Austin.

Funeral services for Raymond H. Stewart will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 20, 2018 with Rev. Randy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 10 AM until the hour of the service.
