Ruth Douglas

Maysville - Ruth Douglas, 88, formerly of Flemingsburg, KY died Monday, January 1, 2018 at the Robertson County Health Care Facility. Ms. Douglas was a retired beautician and she was born in Hippo, Kentucky on August 11, 1929 the daughter of the late Estill and Lucy Hicks Hughes. Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Lee Roaden of Goshen, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Hatfield and Michelle Ashcraft and two great grandchildren, Jacob Ashcraft and Alex “Shorty” Ashcraft. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Earl Cox and her sister, Lola Fulks. A graveside service will be held at the Rest Haven Memorial Park Chapel, 10209 Plainfield Road, Cincinnati, Ohio at 1:15 PM Friday, January 5, 2018 with Rev. Tony Cox officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to www.diabetes.org. The arrangements are entrusted to the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
