Ruth Moran Rosser

She was the widow of Frank C. Rosser who died Jan. 25, 1995. At the time of Mr. Rosser's death, they had been married over 50 years.

Mrs. Rosser was a member of the First Christian Church and had taught Sunday School for over 50 years with the Youth and Women's Classes at the Lawrence Creek Christian Church and with the Worthington Class at First Christian Church. Mrs. Rosser attended the Midway Girls School and the University of Kentucky.

She was born in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Sudie Kerr Moran. She is survived by her son, Donald Rosser and his wife, Sharon (Morrison) Rosser of Washington; and her grandson, Joshua Brandon Rosser of Washington.

Services for Ruth Rosser will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, with Rev. Steve Lesher officiating.

Burial will be in the Charleston Bottom Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to one's church or favorite charity.
