Leslie Thomas Adams (Tom) of Aberdeen , 54 ,died 12/6/2012 in Maysville, KY due to complications from open heart surgery. He was born December 18, 1957 in Portsmouth to the late Leslie Edgar Adams and Ethel Ann Miller Caldwell Adams. Tom grew up in Garrison KY and graduated from Lewis County High School in 1975. For the past 26 years, Tom was a mechanic for Black River (Carmeuse) Lime and Stone, Butler KY. Tom was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to everyone he ever knew. He always made the time to help anyone in need. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Marilyn Rachel Caudill Adams, and three sons,Tommy Adams (Carola Stiver), Amelia, OH, Joey Adams (Chris Hummel), Ludlow, KY, and Matt Adams, Maysville KY. Two granddaughters, Alexis Adams and Lainey Adams, Two daughters in law: Jennifer Adams (Jerold Murray ) and Johnna Adams. Survived by brothers and sisters: Chester Caldwell (Brenda) Tollesboro, KY, Marge Everman Wheelersburg, OH, Roger Caldwell (Kathy) Garrison, KY, Donna Ruckel (Jerry) Vanceburg, KY, Kathy Wright (Keith) Melbourne, FL., Dwight Adams, LeHigh Acres, FL., Jeanne Gordon (Chuck), Wheelersburg, OH. Besides his mom and dad, Tom is preceded in death by his brother Bob Adams and three sisters, Janice Elizondo, Linda Johnson and Barb Cottrell. Tom also had many brothers and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, and dear friends that meant so much to him and he loved them very much. Tom was a member, Deacon and Sunday school teacher at Calvary Baptist Church in Maysville KY. He was a powerful testimony to the Lord in every aspect of his life and loved his church and church family. His pastor and the pastor’s wife (Tony and Christi Leiss) rarely left Tom and Tom’s family’s side during the past several weeks. Funeral services for Tom Adams will be Monday, December 10 at noon 12 P.M. at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Liess officiating. Burial will follow at the Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen.
