
William T. Fryman, 89, of Maysville died Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. He was the widower of Augusta Powell Fryman. Mr. Fryman was a member of the Church of Faith in Jesus Christ and a Kentucky Colonel and formerly operated his own construction business. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the US Navy Seabees. Mr. Fryman was born in Mason County, Kentucky on October 10, 1924 the son of the late James D. and Beulah Highlander Fryman. He is survived by two sons, Steve Fryman (Phyllis) of Aberdeen, OH and Allan Fryman of Maysville, KY; one daughter, Diane Hamilton (Doug) of West Union, OH; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers, David Fryman of Maysville, KY and Paul Fryman of Dayton, OH; one sister, Wanda Spangler of Stanton, KY; several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Sylvia Fryman; two brothers, James Fryman and Morgan Fryman and one sister, Mary Powell. Funeral services for William T. Fryman will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 27, 2014 with Rev. Phillip Huffman officiating. Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM.
