She graduated from Young High School and married her high school sweetheart Roy Lee Ellis. After living in Knoxville while Roy served in the Air Force they moved to Atlanta, where she began her career as Office & Finance Manager for two different medical practices for a combined 30 years. After decades supporting Roy and her daughter Debbie in softball and football seasons, Annette & Roy retired to Jackson, GA, enjoying lake life, fishing and sunset pontoon rides.
Annette was preceded in death by Roy after 53 years of marriage and is survived by her daughter Debbie.
For those who wish donations may be made in memory of Annette to either the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
A graveside service will be held at Eastlawn Memorial Park, 640 McGarity Rd, McDonough, GA 30252, on March 19, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
