Mrs. Annie Horton, 86 of Locust Grove passed away December 4, 2020. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 8, 1934 to Samuel and Lola Irwin. Annie was also preceded in death her husband, James Fred Horton, a sister, Mary Margaret and a brother Rayford Dewey Irwin. She loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Horton is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Frank) Sanders of McDonough, Alan (Denise) Horton of Milledgeville, Fay (Doug) Gilbert of Ola and Kay (Randy) Hendrix of Griffin. Nine grandchildren, Matthew (Paige) Sowles, Marianna Garcia, Jason (Brittany) Hendrix, Jeremy (Kristie) Gilbert, Kyle (Miranda) Horton, Craig (Pam) Hendrix, Adam (Megan) Horton, Mandy (Kenneth) Wood and Sarah Beth Shelton and twenty one great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 7:00pm on Monday, December, 7, 2020 at Haisten Funeral Home, McDonough. Pastor Jon Fennell will officiate a graveside service at 2:30pm on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Morrow City Cemetery.
