On August 8, 2026, Barbara Hawkins (Makle, Ivey) was called home with the Lord. She was born on Feb. 28, 1945, to Joseph and Agnes Hawkins. Barbara was preceded in death by her brothers Wesley, Joseph Jr and William, sisters Ann and Delores, and a son Quinn. Barbara retired from Marriott Hot Shoppes Cafeteria after 39 yrs and then moved on as a Supervisor for Franks Nursery and Staples. She loved Bingo and the Casinos. We're going to miss her smile and jokes she told. She was always the life of the party and enjoyed making people laugh. She leaves to cherish, two sons Chrispher and Joseph, daughters Dana and Robin, grandchildren Gerell, Shawnice, Patrick Jr (PJ), Quinn Jr, Ruby, Rashaad and Chris Jr. Special great grandchild, Alexia Ford, had a special bond. A host of nieces, nephew, great grandchild, family + friends.
