I was honored to attend this beautiful lady’s graveside funeral this past sunny Wednesday. For several years, I was blessed to be in her family, and call her Grandma. So many good memories. Grandpa would call her ‘bob’. (barb). I loved hearing from her and Grandpa Jack about the old times. She and Jack would battle - I mean, cook- in the kitchen. She gave me a couple of recipes, and her Singer sewing book. She and Linda could outshop you in Belk any day of the week. Those two could also burn up a treadmill. May you rest in peace alongside your Jack. Miss you and love you.

What a sweet, sweet lady Miss Barbara was. She always had a smile on her face and a witty comment to make! I will never forget the sweet note she sent me when my husband was so sick-just letting me know she was praying and to “keep my chin up”. 😊💕. I will miss seeing her sitting in church and her sweet hugs.

Linda,
I am sorry for your loss. Giving up our mothers is a very hard thing to do. You can take comfort in knowing that she is at peace. I think she was ready to be re-united with Jack. Now her earthly body can rest beside his, and her soul can be with him and Jesus for eternity. She is victorious. I know you will miss her, but cling to your good memories and know that one day you will be with them again.
