

Barry was born on September 18, 1959 to Edna and L.E. in Rockmart, GA. After graduating from Pebblebrook High School in 1977 Barry gained admission to several schools and chose to attend Georgia State University where he quickly began his career as an entrepreneur and business owner.
Barry was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and friends and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family and friends meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. From his years of being a business owner, he never met a stranger and thought of his car lot employees as family.
Barry was also passionate about sports, he loved football and baseball and would switch between games or have more than one tv going so he didn’t miss a play. He loved a good card game and never missed a news or weather update.
Anyone who knew Barry knew he had a heart of gold and thought the world of his family and friends. Barry was predeceased by his mother Edna Adams and father L.E. Adams He is survived by his mother of love Annette Adams, brothers Ronnie Adams (Chris Adams), Steve Adams (Connie Adams), daughter Beth Coleman (Austin Coleman) and Barry Adams Jr, grandchildren Jack, Grant and Jane, dog Dingus as well as many nieces, nephews and friends who he called family.
The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Haisten Funeral Home located at 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway. There will be a private Memorial Service on Sunday, June 7th at 2pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society.
