Bennie William McDonald Sr.

Mr. Bennie William McDonald, Sr., age 76 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away July 6, 2014. He was born in Desser, Georgia to the late E.R. Leck and Agnes Alday McDonald. He was preceded in death by brothers, Glenn and Hubert McDonald. Bennie faithfully served his country in the United States Navy and was retired from Central Tank Lines. He was a member of the Hampton Masonic Lodge and enjoyed fishing, hunting, drag racing and fast cars. Survivors include children, Bennie (Vandy) McDonald of Locust Grove, GA; Tracy (Cam) Barry of Cumming, GA, Kelli (Rodger) Scarbeck of Ft. Worth, TX, Karen (Terry) Paulson of Navarre, FL; grandchildren, Benjamin, Kurt, Summer, Cameron and Andrew; three great grandchildren; brother, Gilbert (Darrell) McDonald of Pennsylvania. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Pastor Arthur Jett will officiate. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Bennie.
