Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Cox, age 80 of McDonough, Georgia passed away March 23, 2020. She was born in Milledgeville, Georgia to the late Harold Thomas Bond. Sr. and Harriet Elizabeth Stevens Bond. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Hubert Cox, Jr. and by a sister, Shelby Manley. She received her nursing degree from the Piedmont Nursing School. She loved to spend time with her family and grandkids and friends, socializing, trips to the beach, attending to her flower gardens and was an avid reader. Survivors include her children, Jeff Cox and Brooke (Matthew) Echols; grandchildren, Nathan (Caroline) Echols, Trevor (Charly) Cox, Katelyn (Brandon) Dwyer and Ethan Echols; great grandchildren, Pierson and Peyton Cox; siblings, Harold "Skip" (Linda) Bowling of California and Patricia Blizzard of Lilburn; several nieces and nephews.
