Betty Louise Yancey Dial of Stockbridge, Ga born July 10, 1933, peacefully passed at her home on October 5, 2022, preceded in death by parents - George & Louise Yancey; husband – Jimmy Dial; and daughter - Jeanne Louise Everett Saxon.
She is survived by her son Bobby (Bambi) Everett of Berry, Kentucky; her daughter Debbie Everett of Beaufort, South Carolina, and two step children Barbara Dial and Jenny Dial.
Seven grandchildren. Wayne (Andrea) Saxon, Melissa McCue, Kristi (Dusty) Smith, Steven (Sarah) Everett, Greg (Stephanie) Everett, and Dawn Childs.
Ten great grandchildren. Hannah Saxon, Landen Wrye, Evelyn Wrye, Aubrie McCue, Peyton McCue, Mason Everett, Grey Everett, Caroline Everett, Olivia Everett, and Wade Everett.
She served Atlanta’s finest customers as a waitress behind the counter at the original Chick-fil-a Dwarf House Grill for 40 years before retiring. In 1969 she won the 1st Miss Atlanta Hospitality contest and went on to compete and win the Miss Georgia Hospitality contest.
She enjoyed camping at Lake Lanier in her motor home, snowmobiling in Montana, trips to Kentucky and she enjoyed cruising the Caribbean with family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation, Henry County Georgia Meals on Wheels, or Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
