Mrs. Betty Burch Elliott, age 89, of McDonough, GA passed away May 26, 2014. Mrs. Elliott was born in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Seaborn Wright Burch and Cuba Bell Burch. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fletcher Elliott and a sister, Jackie Wagnon. Mrs. Elliott enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, and raising her cats. She was a member of First Baptist Church of McDonough. Survivors are her children, Ted Elliott of Griffin, Arthur Elliott (Laura) of McDonough and Stephen Elliott (Donna) of Lizella; grandchildren, Chad Elliott, Brent Elliott, Leslie Norris, Bonnie Oakley and Allison Cole; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Seaborn Burch of Waleska, Georgia and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mrs. Elliott will be Thursday, May 29, 2014 – 11:00 AM at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
