Mrs. Betty Beavers Johnson, age 86 of Hampton, Georgia passed away December 17, 2018. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late James Edward and Margaret Hughes Beavers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Herbert Johnson, Jr. Betty was a graduate of Brown High School in Atlanta. She enjoyed painting, spending time in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, the ocean and doting on her granddaughter and great grandson. Survivors include her children, Judy (David) McDonald of McDonough and Jimmy (Debbie) Johnson of Hampton; granddaughter, Cody Ashley (Josh) Brown of Hampton; great grandson, Lochlan Brown. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
