Billie Lamar Lowe, age 93, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Tuesday November 27, 2018. Billie was born September 8, 1925 to the late William and Ollie Lowe. Mr. Lowe was a fan of all sports, including golf, UGA football, Falcons football, and the Atlanta Braves. Bill served in the U.S. Navy. He loved to travel. Bill worked for Colonial Groceries for 24 years, and the for Kroger for 27 years. His greatest love was his family.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lowe; by his parents; and his siblings. He is survived by his children, Barbara (Tim) Kirkland, David Lowe; his grandchildren, Jenna Kirkland, Mallorie Kirkland, Lauren (Brandon) Lowe, Adam Lowe, Eric Lowe; great- grandchildren, Angelina Bonet, Bentley Lowe; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
A visitation at Haisten Funeral Home for Billie will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 12:00 PM. A committal at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens will follow Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
