Bobby Gene Mills

Bobby Gene Mills, age 67, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020. He was born August 22, 1953 in Indiana to the late Lester and Annie Mills. Mr. Mills was also preceded in death by his brothers, David and Ronald Mills. Bobby was a proud U.S. Army veteran and a tireless caretaker to his family. Bobby loved volunteer work, caring for stray animals, especially cats and always willing to help anyone in need. He is survived by his son, Robert (Melissa) of Bowden, GA and a step-son, Scott (Deanna) Ballew of Georgia, grandchildren, Elijah, Ezekiel and Lydia Mills. Bobby is also survived by two sisters, Patricia Marie Mills of Jackson, Betty Jean (Daryl) Anderson of Hampton and a brother, Johnny Lee Mills of Jackson. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm. Those desiring may send contributions to the 'Helping in His Name' Food Pantry in Stockbridge.
