Brenda Nell Carithers

Brenda Nell Carithers, age 75, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Thursday January 10, 2019. Brenda was born January 18, 1943, in Monroe, GA, to the late James Nellbert and Grace Armistead. She loved to take her family camping in her earlier years. Brenda adored her kids, but her grandchildren were her whole world. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Jacob Carithers; and her son-in-law, Mike Kidd. Brenda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Lee Carithers; her children, Terrie Carithers, Jimmy (Leigh Ann) Carithers, Connie Kidd, Steven Carithers; her grandchildren, Alan, Joshua, Matthew, Rachel; her great-grandchildren, Caleb, Landon, Emma, Jasen, Griffin, Liam, Brianna; brother, Allen Armistead; sister, Susan Lumadue; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. A visitation for Brenda will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 am.
