Brianne Frances Seabrook

Brianne (Bree) Frances Seabrook was born on May 20, 1983 in Washington, D.C., to Elizabeth M. (Simmons) Rowland and the late George A. Rowland. Bree met Jonathan (Jay) Seabrook in 2006 and they married in 2009. Bree and Jay resided in Asheville, NC until they relocated to Atlanta Georgia in 2010.

Bree grew up in Asheville, NC, where she attended schools and became an active member of Hopkins Chapel AME Zion Church. Bree demonstrated an early interest in music, and began singing in her church choirs as well as studying the alto saxophone in latter part of elementary school. She was an active member of the Asheville Middle School and Asheville High School Marching Bands. During this time, Bree also served as a hospital volunteer, and participated in service projects for her community and her church. Over the years, Bree pursued her collegiate education and earned her Associate in Hotel/Restaurant Management, and Bachelors’ and Master’s in Healthcare Management degrees. Bree earned numerous academic awards and honors throughout her life. Professionally, she achieved the level of Assistant General Manager and Director of numerous hotels in Asheville, Black Mountain, NC, as well as the Atlanta, Georgia area. Bree had always been an avid sports fan of basketball and football. She was, above all, Steeler Nation and San Antonio Spurs! Brianne was excited when she became employed by the Georgia State Patrol, and was an active member when she transitioned.

Brianne was preceded in death by her father, George A. Rowland. She is survived by her husband, Jonathan (Jay); mother, Elizabeth; brother, Malik; mother-in-law, Corine; sisters-in-law, Cornitta, Angela and Gloria; brother-in-law, Jerry, and a host of aunts, uncles, two beloved nephews and numerous cousins and many close friends.
