Carlton Miller

Carlton Miller, age 72, passed away on the morning of August 8, 2023. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 14, 1950 to the late Carl Thomas Miller and Gwen Miller. Carlton is preceded in death by a sister; Norma Langley, 2 brothers; Olin and Everett Miller and his grandson Skylar Stilley. Carlton was a musician from an early age and played in multiple bands with his lifelong friends. He was one of the original founding members of the Mackie Creek Band. He was a man of many jokes and loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed a good round of golf. He was retired from the Henry County Water Authority. Carlton loved his family and friends. He is survived by his 3 daughters; Stacey (Stuart) Billings of Locust Grove, Georgia, Patina Aaron of Snellville, Georgia, April (Brian) Massingale of Demorest, Georgia, grandchildren; Travis (Troy) Darley, Richard Billings, Carlton Billings, Kent Darley, Olivia (Joseph) Dockery, Arica (John) Raffield, 5 great-grandchildren; his 4 sisters; Lenora Farr of Peachtree City, Georgia, Irene (Lee) Cromer, Wanda McDonald and Marie Sanders all of McDonough, Georgia along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00am on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough, Georgia.
