Carole Thompson

Carole Geraldine Bosarge Thompson, 86, of McDonough, GA, went to heaven on May 22, 2023. She was born on October 18, 1936 to Lena and Eddie Bosarge in Bayou La Batre, Mobile County, AL. Carole graduated from ALBA High School in Bayou La Batre and had a career in human resources and business management. She was a lifelong Christian and shared her faith with her children. Carole is survived by her sisters, Elaine Guillotte and Diane Dickinson of AL. She is also survived by her daughters, Jamie Thompson Lossie of McDonough, GA and Avis Zirlott Hester of Watkinsville, GA and grandchildren: Nathan Hester, Cassie Hester, Micah Hester, Westley Hester, Luke Hester, Riley Hester, Emmalee Zirlott and Alexander Lossie as well as four great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband James L. Thompson, her parents, brother Harold Bosarge, sister Nilmarge Bosarge and sons Ebbie Leron Zirlott and Dwayne Orin Zirlott. She enjoyed the simple things in life like putting together puzzles and playing games with her family. She was loved by many and all.
