Caroline Stevenson

Caroline Stevenson, age 60, passed away in McDonough, Georgia, on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Caroline was born on August 24, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to Samuel and Corine Stevenson. She was a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a foster mother, volunteer and was loved by many. She was very strict and very passionate about the things she loved most in this world, and did not play when it came to her family. When in doubt, come to momma Caroline; she would work it out. Caroline is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Corine Stevenson; one brother, James Stevenson, and two sisters, Laura Carter and Elizabeth Stevenson. Caroline is survived by seven sisters: Lottie Stevenson, Shirley Lippett, Sharon Courtland, Geraldine Stevenson, D'Lois Mitchell, Brenda Hudson, and Lynnette Woods; one brother-in-law, Roy Mitchell; one son-in-law, Dorian Thomas; 22 children: Rodney Stevenson, Belinda Stevenson, Evatsabeenia Kmieske, Rosalind Miller, Troyesa Thomas, Lucrisa Millier, Dominque Miller, LaCresia Weaver, Larry Melton, Lutheren Melton Jr., Patrick Melton, Lonnie Melton, Cyrus Melton, Tammy Russell, Danielle Miller, Travis Miller, Nicole Miller, Katrina Harris, Dontavious Jackson, Quintez Jackson, Christina Tanzini, Regina Jackson; several grandchildren: Rodney Jr, Corine, Travell, Jasmine, Quinhon, Dorionte, Keonte, Dorianne, James, Shanyell, Connish, Harold, Adreanna, Dominic, Domico, Patricia, Steven, Teaira, Terry, Kesaan, Christopher, David, Kelly, Shawn, Aryah, Rodney (Irby), Lexington, Louie, Darnell, Katorri, Carolyn, Jaxson, London, Chole, Leona, Aylana, one favorite niece: Maude Carter, and a host of other grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that that are not mention by name, but are stilled loved dearly. A memorial service for Caroline will be Saturday, July 5, 2014 – 4:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral one hour prior to the service.
